I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your card being recognized by Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). You mentioned that you tried to uninstall and then reinstall the device. Did put the card back in the same PCI slot? I would recommend switching the card to a different one if you have not done so. Also do you have any other computers that you could put the card into that has MAX on it? If you put the card in another computer that would tell us that the card is ok and this could be a software issue. One other thing to try would be to upgrade the DAQmx driver as this is the driver for the PCI-6259. The current version is DAQmx 8.7.1 wich you can find by going to and then click on

drivers and upgrades". You can check your version of DAQmx by expanding the software tree tab in MAX. I hope some of this information helps you fix the problem and please post back with more findings about your problem.
