MAX: task failed to load properly

I'm trying to configure MAX for a Digital Input on a single port (NI-6259).  When I try to access this channel in MAX, I get an error.  (see the attachment).  I did have two other channels trying to use the same port/channel, but I deleted those.  MAX will not let me delete the channel or re-configure it to fix the problem.

Also attached is an export of the MAX settings.

The channel 'CrackTest_52' is the one in question.

Any suggestions???  😞

vt92,

I was not able to duplicate the issue with your INI file.  What you can do is clear your configuration manually in MAX and start fresh.  This can be done by going through the following steps.

-          Go to the start menu and click RUN

-          Type “cmd” to open a command prompt

-          Type “net stop mxssvr” to stop the MAX database service

-          Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MAX

-          Rename the “Data” directory to “Data Backup”

-          Now restart your computer and the next time MAX starts you should not have any tasks in your Data Neighborhood.

You may also need to reconfigure your hardware if your system does not find your DAQ device.

Thanks, Ryan.  I'll give that a try.
