MAX warning at the end of the session

I have just completed installing LabView and the cards. I have noticed two problems:

1) When I open up MAX, I am not able to open the files through Help> Help Topics > NI-DAQmx> "DAQ Getting started Guide" and "SCXI Quick Start Guide" as well. After this step I get a warning saying "Please install adobe Acrobat reader to see this file" which I have already installed the reader.

2)  Another problem, At the end of any session I close up MAX and I get a pop up menu warning saying "Measurement and Automation Explore  has stopped working, (This is with bigger fonts) and later it tells me, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".

To address your second question, I am curious as to if this error message is from Windows or National Instruments (does it give an error code?).  Also, what Operating System, DAQmx version, and LabVIEW are you currently using?  Does Measurement and Automation Explorer work when it is running (test panels, tasks, and so on)?  I linked a page below to find the latest DAQmx drivers.  You could try to repair or reinstall the DAQmx driver.

The first question related to adobe acrobat reader might mean you need to repair this software or update to the newest version.
