Measurement I/O palette empty usb-6009 mac

Hi there,

I am using Labview on my mac and I want to use the NI usb-6009 daq. I have already installed the NI-DAQmx_Base_3.6.0.dmg and the system recognizes the hardware. I run lsdaq, FWUpdate and nidatalogger and all of them work properly, but when I try to make my VIs, the measurement I/O palette is empty.

Could anyone help me?

Do you have multiple versions of LV or did you install DAQmx Base before installing LV? It sounds like the installation did not put the VIs in the vi.lib folder.  Check the Applications folder.  Dig down to the folder for the LabVIEW version you are using. In my vi.lib a folder called "_DAQmxBase" is the first folder in vi.lib.

Hi Lynn, thank you for your answer.

I've just found that this version of the DAQmx (3.6.0) is not compatible with LabVIEW 8.6. I should download a previous version.
