Minimum Voltage Range

Hello,

I want to know about difference between Minimum Voltage Range, Minimum Voltage Range Accuracy and Minimum Voltage Range Sensitivity.

Would you please help me about this.

Best regards

Hello Nasir,

The values listed in the Specifications Summary page of a Multifunction DAQ product are also discussed in further detail in the product Specifications Manual. e.g  DAQ devices have a built in amplifier to enhance the signal to better fit the range of the Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), therefore the Minimum Voltage Range refers to the minimum range value that your device can allow good use/utilize the resolution of the ADC. AbsoluteAccuracy = Reading · (GainError) + Range · (OffsetError) + NoiseUncertainty. Sensitivity is the smallest voltage change that can be detected (It is a function of noise). I have included a link below as an example for additional information, (see page 5 of the NI-625x).
