My USB-6008 has wrong firmware for c# application, switch utility fails.

I'm using a pair of USB-6008's in an application. Things were going well until I installed NI-DAQmx. This software changed the firmware from NI-DAQmx BASE to NI-DAQmx. The trouble is I cannot change it back again. The NI switching utility errors because it does not find the Labview Engine. Well it won't as I'm not a labview user.

Hello Drew,

The simplest solution would be for you to download and install the LabVIEW 8.5.1 runtime, with which you will be able to run the switching utility without issue. This is free and can be found here:
