NI 6009

Can NI 6009 DAQ work with IEPE Accelerometer? I have an IEPE Accelerometer with a cable having red, white and ground wires, and  i am just connecting red with -ve and white with +ve of one of the channels of NI 6009. After vibrating the accelerometer, i am not getting any significant changes on the voltage graph (Signal express)? Can you please help me out.

I'm not an expert in this, but I believe you have to provide excitation to the sensor (i.e. give it power). This can be done either on the same lines by using one of our DSA products https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000x0VRCAY&l=en-US (they have built-in IEPE) or by wiring up a circuit yourself.
