My problem: I have a USB NI 6525 that is often unrecognized by the computer.
Setup: Windows 7 computer, to a powered USB hub. The hub has 3 devices: an NI 6210, the NI 6525, and a USB to Ethernet adapter communicating with a servo drive.
I am using LabVIEW 2012 service pack 1 and NI-DAQ 9.7.5.
The quick fix: Once everything thing else is connected and working unplug the 6525 and plug it back in. This works every time. However, this is not acceptable for a machine that I am selling.
I currently have 3 machines. The first on did not have this problem. The second one only had the problem on the development computer but not on the deployment computer. The third one has the problem on both the development machine and the deployment computer.
Note: I have tried connecting each device with a separate USB cable. This did not help.
