NI DAQ-6009 not working with DUB-H7 hub

I have two NI DAQ-6009's and run them with LabVIEW 8.2.1. When I use the D-Link DUB-H7 hub, my programs will start, but then they freeze. The only way to unfreeze the probram is to unplug the D-Link hub from the computer. Unpluging the 6009's will not do it. I can then reconnect the D-Link to the computer and it will work again, until it freezes again. I'm using an XP Pro laptop and desktop. Both computers are doing the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony-Adec,

Welcome to the NI forums.  Are you using DAQmx?

There is a Corrective Action Request (CAR) that has been filed for this behavior when using DAQmx.  I will update the CAR and the current workaround is to power cycle the USB-HUB and/or unplug all devices from the HUB for about 30 seconds and plug them back in.

This essentially resets the connections on the USB-HUB.  If you would like to check on the status of the CAR you can talk to one of NI’s Engineers by going to ni.com/ask and referencing the CAR number 3OB7DNT8.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Ryan for the info. It helps but it doesn't help. I was hoping there was a fix already in place.

I am using DAQmx. So I'll keep an eye on that CAR.

Thanks again.
