NI Scope Express VI and Labview

The equipment I have is a Tektronix function generator connected to a NI PXI-5122 and Labview 8.2.

Im looking for a VI that acts like the NI Scope VI, but the user can change the options in the Front Panel without going into the Block Diagram and changing the parameters...like a user friendly NI Scope VI.

If you have the NI-Scope driver installed, you should have examples that are installed with the driver. You can find these examples through LabVIEW. In a LabVIEW VI click on help > Find Examples. When the NI Example Finder window opens up, click on the Hardware Input and Output Folder > Modular Instruments > NI-Scope (High-Speed Digitizers) > Demos. In the Demos folder there are examples that you can use which are like the NI-SCOPE soft front panel. If you take a look at the niScope EX Configured Acquisition.vi, that has a lot of controls on the front panel for your incoming signal.
