NI USB 6009 with DAQ

Hello,

I have been trying to set up a pressure sensor by attaching the output of the pressure sensor to an analog input channel of the NI USB 6009 so that I can read the pressures in lab view. However, when I attach the output of the transducer (pressure reading in volts) to the analog input of the NI USB 6009, I keep get a reading of around 10V. I am using DaqMx to read the signal. This value stays constant, it does not change over multiple samples or trials. This does not make any sense, as the transducer should only be giving me a signal of 0 to 5 volts. (This is what I set the values to be in the Daq as well). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi emeen,

I see that you seem to be reading incorrect values with your USB-6009. Here are a few questions that we should answer to probe what the issue is:

Have you tried reading other channels and does it have the same behavior?

Have you tried to read your transducer with a DMM?

Have you tried to read a different sensor with your USB device?

Give an update whenever you get the chance!
