NI USB-6210 Reading Noise

Hey, I am working on a project that involves reading voltages from strain gauges. I have a Strain Guage connected to an amplifier and then connected to a DAQ so I can read it. I started out using a NI USB-6008, and I got very good readings. However, to allow for more connections I have changed to a NI USB-6210, which can now read up to 16 readings.

However, I am getting very a very noisy signal and I cannot figure it out. I have the proper drivers installed. In the end I will be using labview 8.6 to read the gauge. It gives me the noisy signal there, so I have tried using the NI measurment and automation program. I did the self test and it passed, and it still gave me a very noisy signal. When working, it should be a fairly constant and steady signal that changes when I push or pull on the gauge. It does respond to me pushing or pulling on the gauge but the noise remains. I have the inputs in the right channel and have even tried different channels, but all channels are very noisy.

Im not sure what to try next. Is it just a problem with the DAQ or is there something I may be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell the voltage span of the noise and what range of voltage does the amplifier put out? The 6210 has more bits of resolution, so you may be seeing noise that the 6008 is not capable of resolving. Can you attach a screen shot of the signal in MAX?

What make/model is the gauge and the amplifier? One thing that comes to mind is the the 6008's input impedance is a wimply 140kohms, while the 6210's is >10Gohms. Maybe the amplifier needs a lower impedance load (the DAQ card in this case) for better performance.
