NI-VISA 4.0.0 could not be installed

hi im having a problem installing a USB-6008 using NIKAL and NIDAQmxBase210 in a fedora 8 linux, first i was able to install the drivers but lsdaq didnt list the board, i decide to uninstall nikal and nidaqmxbase210 unfortunettly the problem get worst i was unable to unistall NIKAL, and when i try to install NIDAQmxBase210 i get the folowing error:
ERROR: make of nikal kernel module failed, not installing kernel module.
   updateNIDrivers should be called again after fixing the problem.
   Logging failure...
   Include the file /tmp/niSystemReport.out.gz when contacting
   National Instruments for support.


Installation aborted.

NI-VISA 4.0.0 could not be installed.
Please run the NI-VISA installer in the nivisa subdirectory
and then re-run this installer.
NI-VISA 4.0.0 (or later) is required for
NI-DAQmx Base 2.1.0-f0

Unfortunately as you can see on this page : What Linux Distributions Do National Instruments Drivers and Software Support? your Linux distribution is not supported by National Instruments. So, it is gonna be hard for you to get answers for your problems unless users who had the same issues help you.
 
The only advice I could give you, would be to uninstall everything and try to re install an older version of NI KAL ,DAQmx Base and NI VISA and see if you get the same issues.
