NI9265 input power

I am using a NI9265 for an application. My application consist of the use of a zener barrier. The input voltage is 24VDC. The output of the zener barrier is 8.46VDC. The NI 9265 is receiving the 8.46 volts and is not turning on. The required VDC for the NI 9265 is 9VDC. Any chances i can turn down the input voltage of the NI 9265?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to decrease the minimum supply voltage needed for the NI 9265.
