PCI-6024E doesn't appear in LabVIEW (8.0)?

I was embarassed when I run my DAQ application which prgrammed in LabVIEW 8.0 but the card PCI-6024E didn't appear!

The PC was firstly installed the LabVIEW 6.1 and related MAX, some daq application functions well and the card could be detected and tested in MAX. However, when the labVIEW 8.0 was installed (and the former 6.1 version didn't uninstalled successfully?), DaQmx VIs can not work!
The card still appears in MAX but I cannot even find it with VISA find resource.vi!
Should I uninstall all the components and reinstall the LabVIEW and the MAX?

Your post is a bit confusing. With 6.1, you can only program with traditional DAQ functions so any programs you wrote before would require you to install the traditional DAQ drivers. The installation of these is not automatic.

If you did install both drivers, then you have to check to see which driver is being used for the card. It might be working in MAX with traditional DAQ. To switch between drivers, see http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&thread.id=315357

Using the VISA Find Resource will never find any DAQ boards. They simply aren't VISA resources
