When I executed the self test in MAX, I had an Error 50151 with my newly purchased PCI-6115. My OS is window vista business (32bit) running in Dell PowerEdge 2950 (quadcore, chipset: intel 5000X). I have also PCIe-1427 but PCIe-1427 is working properly. I send my PCI-6115 to RMA department. But they say it works properly in their environment. So I got it back. I upgraded the drive by uninstalling nidaqmx 8.6.0 and installing nidaqmx 8.6.1 before inserting PCI-6115. However, when I inserted the PCI-6115, it doesn't work with the same error.
Today, I borrowed another PCI-6115 (purchased maybe two years ago) which was working well in XP and Traditional nidaq 7.4.4 and tested it with my computer (see summary). Surprisingly, it passed the self test without any error. Again I borrowed PCI-6111 which was working well in XP and Tranditional nidaq 7.3 and tested it with my computer. It worked well too. So I tested my newly purchased PCI-6115 with a different computer with XP and traditional nidaq 7.4.4. It passed the self test and looked OK. Finally, I tested my PCI-6115 with another computer with XP and traditional nidaq 7.3. When I executed test panel, this computer was crashed and my PCI-6115 did not work.
The results I have got make me confused. I have heard there is a NI field engineer near Irvine, CA. Is it possible if he can come by my office and resolve my problem. Anyway, please help me.
Summary (My environment)

NI-DAQmx 8.6.1
Error code : 50151 (when I run the self test in MAX)
My RMA number was 1109849.

I did test my PCI-6115 in other PCI-X slot but it didn't work.
I tested the borrowed PCI-6115 again in my computer. It passed the self test and generated sine wave as an analog output at the test panel (MAX) but I found many spikes in the sine wave for both channels.
I guess that my PCI-6115 does not have any conflict to PCIe-1427 but have something with my PCI-X slots.
By the way, do you know why the PCI-6111 (purchased 3 or 4 years ago) was working well in my slots?
I will also contact an engineer from Dell company to see if there is anything wrong in my slots.
Thank you very much.
