Hello All,
I have several systems which use BNC-2090A rack-mount input boards, connected to PCI-6229 DAQ cards. A typical setup has two BNC boards connected to a single PCI card.
This may seem a simple question, but can you have one BNC board set to Differential, a second BNC board set to RSE and have them provide voltages to the same one PCI card?
Thank you,
Sean

Hello Sean
It should not be a problem you just have to configure it according for the type measurement if it is Differential or RSE. Remember that you must configure this in your task and in your hardware according to the BNC-2090A manual and to the PCI-6229 manual.

Esteban,
Thank you for your response. I figured that you could run RSE and differential set BNC-2090A cards to the same PCI card, so long as the software recognizes them as such. Here we have a third-party data acquisition software program that can probably be more flexible than we know and let us run any number of configurations but we haven't had the time to try them.
Anyways, I appreciate the assistance in this regard.
Thanks Again,
Sean
