PCI 6534 fails Ressources test

I have a PCI-6534 correctly installed and responding in MAX on an industrial PC with PX-14S1 Backplane and IB740 PC-Card on Win2000, LV6.1. But as soon as I install the chipset driver "Intel(R)82801BA/BAM SMBus Controller" (which is vital) MAX states, that the board does not reply, though Win2000 does not display any error.

I couldn't find anything reported about that particular combination on NI DataBases. I believe the best bet is to uninstall both drivers, reinstall first the chipset driver, and then the NI-DAQ driver.
