Hi All, I am using DAQmx v 9.1 with Measurment Explorer v4.7.1.x. I have a PCIe-6321connected to an SCXI 1001 chassis with an 1120 module and scxi 1327.
The only caveat is the SCXI system is circa 1997.
When I run the test panels in Measurement Explorer on any channel in the scxi 1120/1327 system I get an out of range error for voltages
above +5V and below -5V. Note the PCIe-6321 has input voltage range of +/-10V. Moreover, this same SCXI system works fine within the +/- 10V range with on old AT-MIO-16-E-1 Board.
Can somebody please verify this? I don't want to lose any more hair over this.

Hi rberger,
Thanks for posting. According to this KB, that behavior is expected. The SCXI-1120 module normally has an input range of ±5 V, so using test panels in Measurement & Automation Explorer will throw an error if the input range is set above that level. The KB should offer a way around this error that you have been seeing. I hope this helps!
Regards,
Joe S.

I am using the scxi-1327 attenuating module. MAX still gives me an error & so does LabVIEW 2010. Any thoughts?

rberger,
Thanks for your reply. The second part of that KB mentioned how MAX may sometimes throw errors if the jumpers on the 1120 are not set properly or if the increment buttons are used in MAX. Have you checked that the jumper settings on the card are correct? For reference, an article on how to do this can be found here. Let me know, thanks!
