I am a user of a German
version of LabVIEW 8.6. Recently I noticed a problem with the DAQmx Kanal.vi (DAQmx
Channel).. If I have two tasks which corresponds to two different modules of NI
cDAQ-9172 and I connect a DAQmx Kanal.vi to each I can control and see the
channels which corresponds only to the first module independently from the filter
auswaehlen (choose filter) setting. E.g. I have a NI 9203 in port 4 and NI 9425
in port 6 and two created task to read analog and digital channels. To both of
the tasks I connected DAQmx Kanal.vi to be able to choose which channels I would
like to read with AktiveKanaele (ActiveChannels). Unfortunately for both
controls of the AktiveKanaele I can select only from the channels which corresponds
to the analog module. Is there a bag or I made a mistake?
My second question is if that's
the right way (with defining Active channels) to measure several channels from
all the channels defined in the task. I would like to avoid definition of large
number of tasks.
