Problems related to data aquisition from 2 DAQ cards simultaneously

I need to develop a Win2k application that uses 2 DAQ cards to aquire data from multiple chanells simultaneously. I use 2 different threads and I call Lab_IStart in both of them on each DIFFERENT device. The system hangs. How do I overcome this?
