To acquire data from an RTD with your PCI-6031E, most importantly, you will need a current excitation source. By itself, the PCI-6031E will be unable to provide this. However, you can provide your own external source, or you can consider one of National Instruments signal conditioning options for RTD measurements with your PCI-6031E.
