Recognizing USB-6009 as DAQmx

I can get onto MAX and get to the driver selector, and it even tells me that the driver for the USB6009 was switched (from DAQmx Base to DAQmx). However, this change isn't recorded when I either refresh or exit and reopen MAX and there are no DAQ Devices in the 'Devices and Interfaces' tree. It is recognized and said to be working correctly in the USB Devices section.

What do I need to do to get the device recognized and usable by the rest of LabView?

Hello,

Try unplugging the USB-6009 and plugging it back in.  When you switch the driver to DAQmx for the first time, you should see a window pop up that says it is loading new firmware.  Has this happened?

I have not been able to reproduce this issue with my USB-6009.

Sorry for the multiple posts, having computer issues...

If you continue to have problems with this, try uninstalling/reinstalling NI-DAQmx and NI-DAQmx Base.  Let me know your results.

Regards,
Sean C.

Unplugging the device right after I switched the driver to DAQmx worked, and it is now recognized.

Many thanks.
