I am using SCB-68 E series.
And I set up Labview to read the signals from each channel. Every channel is set up as RSE. All pins are open except for pin 68 and pin 67 (which is the + and - for ACH1). I connected those two pins to a Load Cell. The input voltage is 0-5V.
Now from Labview, I found ACH7,8 and 9 had non-zero readings. All other channels had zero readings.
Now if I connect pin 57 and pin 24 together (which is the + and - for ACH7), its voltage will drop down to zero. But at the same time, readings from channel ACH8 (pin 34 and pin 67), ACH9 (pin 66 and pin 32) also drop down to zero.
Can someone tell what's wrong with my setup? Why do I get signal interference?
Thank yoU!

You can't be doing data acquisition with an SCB-68 because it is just a dumb terminal block.
If you really have a DAQ board and leave some channels unterminated, you are seeing normal behavior. See this.
