If using an SCXI-1600 to control two SCXI-1124's, no other components are needed for the chassis, correct? In other words, the multiplexing operation is contained within the SCXI-1600?
That is correct, the 1600 will act as a SCXI system controller. The SCXI 1600 is able to multiplex between multiple devices without any additional hardware.
