I am using DAQ PCI 6221 (68 pin), I have to measure 2 load cell values continuosly, I am measuring the signals within a while loop, the load cell amplifier gives me 0-10 V Dc output for 0-20 kg. load.
I have done proper shielding of the cables. and chosen the sampling rate as 1Khz and samples 100, but I am getting a varying signal when I have put certain load say 5 kgs the reading should be stable at 5.000 kgs but it is quite unstable, keeps floating between 5.000 to 5.050.
I think I have some problem in setting the sampling rate, I also tried sampling rate as 100Khz and no. of samples 100000, in this case I get a stable value but aquisition becomes slow (obvious), so what should be criteria to choose sampling rates and no of samples as I have to measure other parameters such as temperature and pressures.
With PLC analog module I get very stable result for the same load cell and amplifier.
Kindly provoide some suggestions.
