Hi,
I expect to buy a DAQ system soon. I have the following spec for the kind of DAC that I'm looking for:
- At least 50 channels (analog inputs with common reference could work),
- Continuous scan with sampling rate of 24kHz or higher.
The kind of measurements that I have to perform is compatible with your USB-6255 device.
But I don't get from the specification of this product if the sampling rate per channel is a direct function of the fastest sampling rate available (1.25 MS/s for 1 channel) divided by the number of channels during the coontinuous scan. If so, this means the sampling rate per channel would be 25kS/s for 50 channels.
Can you provide a clear statement about it?
My expectation for a clear statement is the following:
I want a way to calculate by my own the sampling rate per each channel to understand if the device could be a good purchase.
Regards.

Hello pat.langlois,
page 1 in the specification of the NI 6255
Multichannel maximum (aggregate) = 750 kS/s
This means in your case 750KS/s / 50 = 15 KS/s

Thank you Alexander for your input. That's exactly the info that I was looking for.
I consider this case as closed with your answer.
Best regards,
Patrick
