Saving a virtual channel from a vi

I used to work with LabView and traditional DAQ a while ago.

I am now (only!) moving to DaqMx and I am running into a few beginner's troubles.

I create virtual channel in my VI and I would like to save them into global virtual channel so I can access them from another VI. In other words, I would like to know if it is possible to create channel like we do in Max, but in the runtime, when the VI runs?
