Jason:

I hope all is well. The way Intensity Charts work is that they plot values form you array based on their color values. As you mentionned in your last post, the x and y axis represent the indices of the actual array. Changing the x and y minimum/maximum values is possible, however it may not be meaningful because it will change the way your data are plotted. You can use the "Offset and Multiplier" Property Node of the Intensity Chart to change the values on the x and y axis. To access it, select the following: Property Node >> X-Scale >> Offset and Multiplier >> Multiplier. Please let me know if this helps.

Dear Sir:
I use labview7.0 to control the input and output of PCI6251, the output is a triangle waveform (around 100Hz), the sample rate is 100kHz and samples is 1000, the input sampling rate is 100kHz. However, the period of the output is not stable, there is always a little jitter. So the synchronized the input data has also a little jitter. My computer is an old one, P3 500 & 384M Ram, could it be a problem or if there is any other problem?

Thanks

Hey Jason,

If you are using software timing, then a little jitter is going to be expected. The 6251 has correlated DIO ports, so we could use an onboard counter to hardware time the waveform generation. This should reduce the jitter. Your system being fairly old is probably why the jitter is noticeable, because everything is currently being handled by your processor. If you are using hardware timed digital output please let me know. If you would like to see if using hardware timed DIO improves your signal at all please look at the attached example, it shows how to route your counter to your digital output task. the digital generation I did can just be replaced with however you have created your digital waveform. Please let me know if you need further assistance with this issue.

Have a great day,

Michael
