State after MatLab stop(s) command

Hi

We are using the MatLab data acquisition toolbox and a NI PCI 6509 card to control an amplifier. Our code presently uses the stop(s) command to end the session s. My question is what state is the 6509 in after the stop(s) command is issued. For example, if we were outputting a sine wave from the DAC to our amplifier and at some arbitrary time we issued the stop(s) command would the voltage on the DAC output be frozen to some nonzero value? Or is the output of the DAC zeroed when stop(s) is issued regardless of the last voltage level in the DAC fifo?

thank you!
