Step function with NI 9263 in matlab

Hello,

I use the CompactDAQ NI 9263 and want to create a step function.

I would like to use the session based interface in Matlab. In the help directory there is only described how to generate a sine signal.

But what I need is a step from 0 to e. g. 4 Volts. for about 1 second.

Does anyone have an idea how that could work?

Hello teutopixx,

did you think about using the data acquisition toolbox? You can find information about it on the following websites:

An Introduction to NI-DAQmx Tools for Data Acquisition with The Mathworks, Inc. MATLAB® Software

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3005

Data Acquisition Toolbox 2.18

DAQmx (E/M/S-Series Cards) with MATLAB®

As National Instruments does not support matlab Code, I cannot give you further input on using matlab (however, other members of the forum might do), but if you have further questions on the toolbox, please feel free to ask.

Best Regards,
