Synchronization of a NI 9230 in cDAQ 1slot (NI 9171) to NI USB-6212

I have a NI 9230 plugged in a cDAQ 1slot (NI 9171), and I would like to synchronize with a NI USB-6212. Is it possible via PFI or other strategy.

Seems unlikely to sync fully in real time since the cDAQ gear doesn't offer any connection point for shared timing signals.

But you could parallel wire one of your cDAQ signals over to the USB-6212 and then correlate timing after the fact.  Dunno what kind of app you have in mind though, so dunno if after-the-fact correlation is good enough.

One additional reason you cannot sync is that the 9230 is delta-sigma ADC based and the 6212 is sample clock based, in this case, you cannot achieve sample clock level synchronization.
