Sorry it's still not clear to me what you whant to measure: The sinus/cosinus (resolver?) signal , the RS422 signal ??
The normal way would be to read the rs422 signal with a rs422 card or rs422/USB converter or use a buildin rs232 port with a converter.

Why not use a USB2RS422/232 device? You will save A LOT of work!
And a USB2RS232 is about $10 if your PC don't have one.
Sorry I don't understand why you want to run into trouble 😉

there are serveral RS-422 to RS-232 converter boxes on the marked, if you wanted to just convert. Also, there are USB to RS-232 devices on the market.
Ich you want to count with the 6321, then just wire your TTL signal to the connector, and count your events.

Here`s the current situation. I will use one of the converters on the market and convert the RS422 signal to TTL. I think that this will also enable that the differential signals are converted to single-ended ones. Am I correct on that? I also found out that I have to connect these signals to the DAQ card via a converter block (BNC2110). This converter block accepts BNC inputs. Most of the rs422->TTL converters I found have DB25P male connectors on the TTL side. As a result I am looking for an adapter or a cable that can wire the DB25P male connector to BNC inputs. I searched through the internet without much success. I will appreciate any help and corrections on my false assumptions if there are any. Thank you.
