Two DAQ-Card 700 under Windows 2000?

I try to use two DAQ-Card 700 simultaneously. It works fine with Windows 98, and I know from the manual (I can't find it right now) that some driver architecture thing inhibits the Windows NT driver from accessing two PCMCIA DAQ-Cards at once. Does a solution exist for Windows 2000, or are the drivers basically the old ones from NT?
It would be nice to know since Windows 98 is certainly going to be "out of date" in a few years time, and I'd like to develop under Windows 2000.

Two identical DAQCards will not work under Windows 2000, but it is not for the same reason that it does not work under NT. This behavior is due to how 2000 identifies CardBus-enabled PCMCIA slots.

We are currently looking into finding a solution to this issue, and we hope to make it available to users soon.

Does that affect the NI 5102 for PCMCIA? Sounds like it might!

We have been using 2 identical NI 5102 for PCMCIA cards under Windows 9x
for a while.

Mark,

This issue will also affect the 5102, but only under Windows 2000. Everything works as it should under 9x/Me.

Erin

The patch is now available at:

I tried to install the patch a few times, and the setup program always told me that the patch was applied successfully. However, the issue I had with two DAQ-Card 700 under Windows 2000 still isn't solved. MAX finds only one DAQ-Card.
My configuration is:
Windows 2000 Service Pack 2
Measurement & Automation Explorer: 2.1.3.14
NI-DAQ: 6.9.1f28
NI-PAL: 1.5.0f0

Any ideas?
