Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but under "Analog Output" it says that output current drive is 5mA, and output range is 0 to +5V. Does this by any chance mean that the analog output can be used as a fairly constant current source, as long as the load is such that the applied voltage doesn't exceed 5V? I ask because I am interested in using RTDs with this device (I found it lying around, and it would be very convenient if I could get this to work), and since this device only measures voltages I need a reliable current source.
Thank you/

wingswing:
The 6008 analog outputs are not constant current, they will supply whatever current the load sinks, up to 5mA.
