Hi All,
I was wondering does anyone have an example of an exercise using USB 6008 to give a digital output from a basic VI in Labview.
I am very new to using the USB 6008 AND DAQ Assistant and so far I have got it reading a temperature, next step is I want the USB 6008 to give a +5v output when the temperature reaches a certain value, I have built a Labview 2009 VI for reading the temperature but now I am stuck on this bit.
Any help is appreciated! or if there are any examples of lab exercises that exist that I can maybe learn from either.

Hi Adnan,
I will have another look although I have checked already and unfortunately I cannot get any info on how to do it step by step!
Thank you for your input though!

Hi Marko
Please have a look at the below link which has some interesting and intuitive videos of using the USB-6008 and how to configure the device for several applications in LabVIEW. Please have a look at these step by step videos and let me know how you get on.They can be found under the 'Virtual Demos' tab.

Hi Adnan,
Yes I have looked at the link above that David provided, then under the virtual demos tab I found exactly what I needed. It was just the basic function of a digital alarm under a certain analog input condition. I also found another item on PID control which I think I will need in a couple of months...
Thanks again for the help, as usual the NI forums are very useful!
Happy new year!
