Unable to install NI Linux Drivers

Hi,

I am very new NI. I have a NI USB 6501. I want to add it to one of my application. Our system is based on Ubuntu 20.04.
The kernel is 5.15.0-131-generic.

I am struggling to install the drivers for this kernel and ubuntu version (which is a hard requirement). I have tried to install the 2024 Q1, 2024 Q3, and 2023 Q4.

Also after installing, I am not able to apt install ni-daqmx for me to interact with the NI USB 6501. Attached is the log for trying to install ni-daqmx.

It would be really helpful if someone is able to point out to do detailed installation step for newbie.

According to this page, Ubuntu 20.4 is not supported by any DAQmx driver version for 6501.

 

In fact, 6501 is not even supported on any Linux distribution.
