Uninstallation of NI-DAQ patch due to blue screen

I have a PC (win 2000) where NI-DAQ 6.9.3 has been installed. Except for this there seems to be a patch for NI-DAQ 7.0.08a.

The DAQ card I'm using is 6036E.
When I try to test it in MAX I get a blue screen.

I've tried to uninstall NI-DAQ and MAX as well, but when I reinstall NI-DAQ 6.9.2 (that is supposed to be the best one for this DAQ card using LABVIEW 6.0.2) the 7.0.08a-patch is still there (I can see it in MAX).

How can I get rid of this patch? Do I have to reinstall labview or is there some other solution?

Nicklas,

Do you have a National Instruments Software Entry within add/remove programs? Newer National Instruments software packages are now included within a single entry of add/remove programs entitled National Instruments Software. I would check to see if you have this entry within add/remove programs and see if NI-DAQ 7.0 can be uninstalled from there. The document linked below discusses this in more detail.

Cannot Find NI Software in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel Applet to Uninstall It

If that doesn't work, then you might have something lingering in the Windows registry which you might have to manually delete yourself. It is usually a good pr
ocedure to uninstall all National Instruments software, clean the registry, and then start over and reinstall the software.

I have attached a word document that includes the steps for cleaning National Instruments software and starting with a clean machine. I have also attached a microsoft cleaning utility that the word document will reference.

I hope this helps.
