Using MAX With DAQ Signal Accessory or SCC-2345

Two part question:

1. I've tried to use MAX with a DAQcard 6036E and a DAQ signal accessory (the training gadget p/n 183554C-01). There doesn't seem to be any support for that device in max. Is that correct or am I missing something?

2. I have an SCC-2345 & some plug-ins for it on order. I have tried to use MAX to configure channels for the system on order, but haven't been able to get things to work. Does the SCC-2345 have to be physically present & connected before I can do the configuration, or am I making some other mistake?

Louis,

#1. You are correct. The DAQ Signal Accessory is not an option as an accessory in MAX. Since it does not posses any functionality that NI-DAQ needs to know about, this should not be an issue.

#2. Since it does not communicate with the E-Series device to which it is connected, you should be able to configure an SCC system without having it connected to the E-Series device. What is not working? Are you receiving an error?
