Using a DAQ NI-6220 with a SC-2042-RTD, get strange behavior from the analog inputs to the test panel in MAX

I'm using a DAQ NI-6220 with a SC-2042-RTD, when I run the test panel in Measurement and Automation Explorer I get strange behavior from all the 8 diffrent input channels. First time I used the setup I had ni problem at all, then I adjusted the potentiometer for the current excitation and then something strange happend. I have calibrated the excitation so that it is 1mA, but it stills seems to be something wrong. When I run the testpanel the voltage for all the channels drops at a "low speed" to almost 2V. And there it semms to be almost constant. What could the problem be ?

Hello Ei0Hoda,

The SC-2042-RTD should work fine with your M Series as it says in the following document . However make sure you connected your SC module correctly as per the following document. If the connection is correct and you are still experiencing the problem, make sure that you have everything set within the specs (page 32).
If you are still experiencing trouble, then there might be something wrong with the module. To isolate, test the DAQ device on its own, and if you have another DAQ device, try the module on it.
