What does Error 10608 mean

I have two instants of Error 10608.  One was at AI Buffer read and the other was at AI control.  These errors were generated during an abort sequence.  The abort sequence does three things.  First, the MTS 407 controller is stopped using serial communication.  Next, a compumotor is reset with serial communication.  Third, the DAQ is cleared using the clear DAQ sub-vi.

The error messanger states "No transfer is in progress for specified resouce".

Any help as to what is error means would be great.  Thanks.

Hi Steve,

This error typically occurs when you have a Test Panel open in MAX at the same time as you are running an application that is accessing the DAQ board.  The best way to get around it is typically to close your test panels before you begin your program. 

Or if you have an older version of LabVIEW you may be seeing this:
