I am looking at PCI 6221 board and it has "Pattern I/O" under Digital I/O. What does this mean.
I am looking for serial digital output for use with a 24-bit DAC and was wondering if this could work for me.

Thanks.

Pattern I/O means that you can control the digital pattern, so instead of High, Low, High, Low. You could do High, High, Low, Low or whatever combination that you want. This particular card is only a 16-bid DAC. So it probably would not be the best card for you.
