What is the best UBS extender to use with a DAQ Pad 6251

I am having a slight annoying problem when using a USB extender with my DAQ Pad 6251, I must physically unplug and re plug the PC cable end every time I reboot my PC in order for the device to show up and function correctly. Once its recognized by MAX, it works fine as long as the PC is not shutdown or restarted. I am using a B&B electronics 5 meter USB extender, model USBAEC16. Is there a better USB extender available which does not suffer this issue ?

Hi Dargm,

We don't currently have any tested extenders with out current USB products. Users in the past have used ATEN with success, but that doesn't mean that it will work any better than the B&B. Just to check, do you see the same behavior if you plug directly into the computer? Do you see the behavior on other USB ports and other computers?
