What is the version of NI-DAQ that I can compile with Borland 4.5.1?

I am updating an application written under Borland 4.5.1 to use the PC-DIO-24 card.
Which NI-DAQ version should I be using to support this old 16 bit world?

Hi Scott,

The PC-DIO-24 card uses the Traditional DAQ drivers. You can look for the drivers here, depending on your operating system. I also found this knowledge base that can be helpful when using Traditional DAQ with Borland C++. I hope this is helpful,

Yes, I have already been to the knowledge base for Traditional NI-DAQ 7.x with Borland C++, I receive Error: NIDAQ32.lib and tried solution 1.

Borland 4.5 [16bit mode] doesn't know what to do with the NIDAQ32 lib.

Then I found "What Changes Were Made in the Various Version of NI-DAQ for Windows". It shows that version 5.1.0 is the last version to support 16bit programming under Win95 [& probably also Win98 which I am forced to use].

Costs and schedule do not permit code written in 1992 [Win 3.1] to be upgraded to todays fast computers, Win2000/XP and current versions of NI-DAQ and DAQ interfaces cards.

The good news is, if I can get past this assignment, the next project uses CVI 8 and PXI instrumentation!
