Windows 7 compatibility for PCI-6035E

Good morning,

 

I am running an application with Labview 2010SP1 using a PCI-6035E acquisition card on a PC with Windows XP. I would like to know if there is any problem migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 64bit.

Hello,

 

The number of customers working with Windows 7 is increasing continuously. Normally, you shouldn't find any problem with this kind of migration.

Hi yellowstone,

 

Is your application written in DAQmx? If it is, the transition should be a smooth one for the most part. We definitely recommend testing out your app on Windows 7.

 

If your application was written in Traditional DAQ, you will need to port your code to DAQmx, since T-DAQ does not support 64 bit versions of Windows. Here is a guide to help you transition T-DAQ code to DAQmx code:
