Wiring Questions on 3-Wire RTD

I am trying to wire a 100 ohm platinum RTD, 3-wire, into a channel on a NI 9217.  I wired it up with RTD+ and  RTD- connected to the marked terminals and the third wire connected to COM.  When I run a test panel in NIMAX and check the resistance across RTD+ and RTD- with a DMM, I get the correct value (110 Ohms at ~80F).  However, NIMAX shows a resistance of only ~0.5 Ohms.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi Diarmaede,

I'm sorry to hear you are not getting the expected resistance in NI MAX. Here is a link describing how to connect an RTD to a DAQ Module.

Thanks.  The manual does not show the jumper between CH+ and EX+.  I will give that a try.
