Wndows XP is slowing down data transfer

Hi,

I have a USB-1028 DAQ device, and I need it to send out pulses every
100 msec to a PC runing windows XP. I find that it has no problems
sending this pulses at this rate, but my C program, running in windows
XP, seems to receive the pulses at an uneven rate, and sometimes gets
slowed down. How can I solve this problem? Is there a way I can set
the interupts so this USB device has highest priority?

Hi Doris,

I'm not sure what a USB-1028 is, and google did not turn up anything promising.  Can you elaborate on your setup?  What device is connected to your computer receiving the digital pulses?  Are you using a National Instruments DAQ device?  If so, what DAQ driver does your C program use?
