analog input PCMCIA 6024E

Hi
I have a DAQCard 6024E PCMCIA  and scb-68 terminal board. I have got some problems with analog input and output.
I use test panel and i couldnt get or send analog data. I read posted messages but i couldnt solve problem.
for example I change mode to "Referenced Single Ended" that is in property of Daqcard-6024.
I am using single ended connection.
I connect signal generator as performed in the user manual.
I used ACH1(pin 33) and AIGND(pin 32).

Are you not able to read/generate  the signal at all??

or are you getting erraneous readings/generation??

Thank you for your reply....

for the analog input we are always reading a value of -10v, regardless everything... whatever we connect to the card we read -10v; we changed the the input signal, no response...

for analog output we have nothing... neither dc nor sinusoidal signal... we checked the settings, (modes) and they are as we wish.

any ideas?

thnx

Hi Aprek,

I think we should try and isolate the problem.  If you go to the following site you should be able to use the online E series diagnostic and test out your PCMCIA card.  Please remove the cable attaching to the SCB 68.  Remove it from the end attached to the PCMCIA card, so that its channels are not connected to anything.  If the diagnostic does not appear to come up you may have to go in and accept NI.com as a trusted internet site for security purposes.  There is a link on the page for how to proceed if it is not coming up.  Please let me know what the diagnostic returns about your card, or if it does not appear to be working, and we should be able to solve your issue from there.

Hey,

Your analog input is not calibrated and your internal calibration voltage is failing.  The best way to proceed is to send the board back to us.  You can do so by calling National Instruments Support.  You can do so at the following page.

http://www.ni.com/support/

Half way down you can choose to ask an engineer, then choose phone support and call in.  Make sure to notify people you have a board you need to RMA your board.  Let the Application Engineer know that you already used the E series Diagnostic and they will get the process sarted.  Please let me know if you have further questions.

Have a great week,

Michael D
