Hello, I refer to this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSNRG_Ddl1s

which is the resistance (ohm) of the potentiometer used in the movie?

Thank you

Luke

They author of the video may know....

Since it is connected to the 5V output of the DAQ card you don't want to use too low of a low value.

Any pot over 500 ohms should safely work. Exact value is not critical to this demonstration. Wiper terminal gets connected to the analog input, the two other legs go to 5Vout and GND.

Thank you, I was concerned about the max. current entering the USB 6009, I was not sure about the 20mA analogic input limit so I was thinking around 250 Ohm.

I have also read about a source/sink current limit of. ± 8.5 mA for the device but is it only for digital input? In that case a resistor of 590 Ohm would be safer?
