automating the feed of fuel into a corn stove via a/c motor

i am trying to use a NI 9172 Daq and various cards to gather temperature from a corn stove and would like to control an a/c auger motor for inserting more fuel into the stove by the decline in temperature from the thermocouples.  i have thermocouple modules to read temp and an analog out module to output a voltage to a freq drive for the a/c motor controlling the auger.  how would one set up a program in labview to do this task.  sorry for anything left missing, i'm quite new to the NI equipment and Labview basics.  Thanks for any help.

drakerebel,

The NI 9172 is a cDAQ chassis.  To be more helpful I would need to know what modules inside the chassis you have.

Either way if I were you I would take a look at the Cont Acq Thermocouple Samples-Int Clk.VI.  This is an example program that will show you how to constantly read from your thermocouples.  I would then merge this with the Cont Gen Voltage Waveform.VI.  You will then change this analog signal based on the output of the thermocouple.
